Slight imperfections and variations in color may occur due to hand-dyeing with each dye lot. Silk is a natural fiber issuing from tiny silk worms. When experiencing static cling, pull veil back and forth over a metal hanger. You can also lightly spray with water before using. There's a helpful product called Static Guard, also static is reduced simply by moisture in the air, or a warm steam iron is another option.
Protect the life of your silk veil by storing in ZipLock bags. Do not close completely or cut a small corner off the bottom so you can press the air out to pack flatter. Never use chlorine bleach on silk. Dry cleaning is preferred, as laundry detergent and dyes in other clothes may affect the color and condition of the silk. When hand washing, do each veil separately in cold water with mild soap. Hang dry, do not tumble dry. To keep color brilliant, rinse once in 1 gallon of water with 1 cup of white vinegar before the final cold water rinse. Some dye may bleed, yet won t affect color vibrancy. Avoid leaving the veil in the sun. Enjoy!
